Bed Bug Control in Antalya
Our bed bug control service in Antalya covers beds, bases, bed frames, sofas and hotel rooms. Detailed treatment of seams and joints plus a second visit two weeks later closes the egg cycle. Bed bugs have nothing to do with whether a home is clean — they arrive in luggage, in second-hand furniture, or from a neighbouring flat.

How to spot it — the signs
- Itchy bites in lines or clusters on arms, legs and shoulders on waking
- Small blood spots on the sheets
- Dark dot marks along mattress seams and base corners
- Clear, empty shed skins near the headboard and bedside table
- In heavy infestations, a sweetish, sharp, musty smell
Where they come from and how they spread
Bed bugs are almost always carried in: travel luggage, laundry brought back from a hotel, a second-hand mattress or sofa, occasionally through socket and service cavities from an adjoining flat. Antalya's tourism traffic keeps the species in constant circulation.
By day they hide in mattress seams, base corners, bed frame joints and behind skirting boards. At night they move towards heat and carbon dioxide to feed. Because they survive months without feeding, waiting for the problem to resolve itself in a closed room does not work.
Why one treatment isn't enough
Treatment targets live insects and larvae, but eggs are shielded by their shell from most products. They hatch roughly one to two weeks later and new individuals appear.
So we run bed bug work in two stages: the initial detailed treatment, then a second visit two weeks later. That visit closes the cycle, is part of the protocol and is not charged separately.
How we treat
- Bed and base dismantled for detailed treatment of seams, zips and corner voids
- Frame joints, behind the headboard, bedside units and drawer cavities
- Seam lines of sofas, armchairs and soft furniture
- Carpet edges, skirting line, socket and switch cavities
- Curtain edges and behind wall-mounted frames
- Follow-up visit two weeks later with spot treatment where needed
What you need to do beforehand
Preparation directly affects the result. Bedding, curtains and textiles in the room should be washed at 60°C or run through a dryer on the highest heat. Heat kills every life stage.
Do not move things to another room. Moving them is the fastest way to spread the problem through the rest of the home. We explain what to do on the phone; until we arrive, leave the room as it is.
What to do after the treatment
- Keep washed textiles in sealed bags and return them after treatment
- Do not empty the room or move furniture for two weeks
- Do not wipe the treated skirting boards and seam lines
- Tell us if you get new bites — the second visit is planned around that
- After travelling, keep luggage out of the bedroom and wash textiles straight away
FAQ
Bed bugs — frequently asked questions
Do I have to throw the mattress away?
In most cases no. The bed and base are dismantled and treated in detail. We only recommend replacement where the structure has broken down and they have colonised inside it — we say so plainly during the survey.
Can I sleep in the room after treatment?
Yes, once surfaces are dry; we tell you how long that takes. Leaving the room empty is not advised — bed bugs move towards heat and carbon dioxide, so using the room actually improves the accuracy of the second treatment.
Is the second visit charged?
No. The follow-up visit two weeks later is part of the protocol and is included in the original price.
Do bed bugs transmit disease?
There is no known disease transmission route. The real problems are severe itching, secondary skin infection and disrupted sleep. Reactions can be more severe in allergic individuals.
